IIRC the stockers are linear as well.

I'm not sure. They have that pigtail, which means they'd have to be progressive in the first inch or so, but I think maybe the car's static height has already eaten up that travel.

And the rears are tapered along their whole length.

you are not smart. did you eat a lot of paint chips when you were a kid?
eibachs dont sag. show me pics of these sagging eibachs. i have a set of eibachs on my 95 and they dont sag, in fact they have been on there for years with no problem. my H&Rs on my svt look like the rear end is actually higher than stock.

H&R give the car the "raked" look not very appealing to me. I'd take the Eibachs over them. But I got GC's instead

Mikey I think more then few on here could lay off the paint chips

Roger,

I thought the Roush were about an inch F&R..are you less than that?
How is the ride?

okay I'm pretty set on the Koni's and the BAT 25mm sport springs... from searching, it looks like it's a good idea to replace the upper strut mounts at the same time. My car is a 2000 SVT with 50,000 mostly city miles. I drive the car very hard but try to treat it really well when I can.

Scare me! What harm can I do by not replacing these mounts??

Are we talking vastly increased wear on other components, possibility of failure, 1% or maybe 20% loss of some performance aspect, increased tire wear, simultaneous combustion, ??? Give me a low and a high, i.e. "nothing really it's kind of a good idea" to "approximately 10% loss of bound/rebound strut performance and possibility of mount breakage.
