thank god i really like my car...i had posted in here a while ago that my 98 tour was running hot..but not overheating..flushed radiator..then check engine light comes on..then goes off...then comes on again, after my car dies in the middle of the street..my mech says timing belt, and that it is more $ because i have a 'special' engine..(4 cyl zetec ????)..i have no idea what makes my engine so special..anyway my advice is get your car checked out when your engine light comes on so you can skip the stress and a tow.. also does anyone know how to fix a horn, mine doesn't work..thanks

Timing belt replacement (including the pulleys) should be less than $500 assuming there was no damage to the engine.

the cost is up to about 800 because of the "special" freakin' engine i supposedly have. i think i am a sucker.
