first off i will say i searched both and go nothing, tomorrow is my last free day to get dirty for 2 weeks so i need some help from the late owls and early birds.

1st off, my e brake is nearly useless. any grade steeper then most garages makes my car want to roll even with ebrake engaged. would like to know how to tighten the ebrake down hopefully to where it engages quickly.

2nd problem, im guessing this would be a blower problem but im not sure. when using ac/heat i only get air movement when the knob is on high. any clue?

i appreciate anyones help on this

1. Your e-brake cable(s) may be seized. You can try jacking the rear of the car up with the e-brake engaged (front wheels blocked!). If you can spin the rear tire(s), then replace your cable(s).

2. Replace your blower motor resistor. Quite common - you lose the lower speeds first.

I have had the resistor replaced and the wiring harness also on my 96 both were covered at the time by recall. Good luck
