While driving on the Florida Turnpike, my engine decided to be nice enough to blow a large hole in the block and expose the cranckshaft for me to see. But anyway, I found one for $475.00 with 55K on it, and had a shop swap it for me.

Now, the tranny never gave me a problem, but after the engine swap, it feels now like the car shifts from 1st to 2nd, and then wastes no time and shifts into 3rd. Also, while cruising, I mash the gas pedal down, but instead of the tranny downshifting first then going back up, it stays in the same gear, and the car just moves along slowly at a low RPM.
