Yeap! I got the job!!
Some of you might remember that I mentioned, in one of my whine threads, that I had a job interview with someone that I did not remember sending my resume too. Well, I showed up at the Shoney's on the morning that I was asked to and the interview went really well. They (the owners, which I had the interview with) stated that they wanted to converse on a fair salary for me, since they felt as though their base salary would not be fair, and asked for a week before they would get back to me.
Well, a week pasted and I heared nothing from them, so I called. The person I spoke with stated that they had been pretty busy and had not had time to check out some things and asked that I hang in there. So I did. Honestly, I had nothing else better to do!
Yesterday, I got a phone call from one of my coworkers at Xerox and they told me that this current company had called them. I also recieved a voice mail from one of the owners saying that they wanted to meet with me again. I called them back and they asked me to meet with them at Logans Roadhouse in Tupelo, MS today. So I called them back, confirming the appointment.
Well, they bought me one hella steak dinner and we had a great time to boot. Not to mention that they offered me the job, along with a $2000 move bounes.

This job will not only allow me to enter back into my feild of expertise, but will allow me a much better chance for advancement then ever offered to me by Xerox. I will literally be only held back by myself alone.
Kim and I are so siked right now, we don't know where to start!! Not only are the people that I am going to work for willing to pay for what they get, but are willing to grow with me and me with them. We really seem like a perfect team and the sky is the limit!
I will be able to retire my Mystique, like I wanted to at the beginning of the year. My current job was running it into the ground far quicker than ever with Xerox. This company with be giving me a 2003 Ford Ranger, 4cyl, 5spd & a gas card. So I will not be spending anymore money on gas like I have for the past 7 years. Plus, all maintaince will be paid for, up front, by the company.

I had two questions for them....
* "Please don't tell me that you will hold me back, unless you can give me a plauseable business reason as to why", Ok! That is more of a statement!
* "Can I wash and wax my truck?" They looked at me sorta funny, so I told them that I would only use Megiuars products.
Their response? "When can you start?" Man.... I am so happy right now!
