so would either of these boxes work for the BP1001?[/b]If the interior dimensions are too large, just add mass to the inside of the box. glue some pieces of wood in there as bracing and kill two birds with one stone.

i disagree, if you never had box building experience, and you think like that, then you will never get any. boxes are easy to build they are cheaper and you can customize them. i build my first box a few months ago and it came out perfect its really easy try it!

If those dimensions are correct, doesnt that look like 1/2" thick partical board instead of 3/4" do your self a favor and custom build your own box!! ask any serious stereo guru and they will tell you that one of the secrets of getting the most out of your system is building the box to the speaker. Some 16y/o can go and buy a $300 sub and throw it in a pre-made p.o.s. box, and you can go blow him away with a custom built box and sub you bought from walmart... just be careful with your math and try to get it as close as you can to speaker specs and make it solid!!! if Im wrong about any of this please just let me know guys

The subzone box is 3/4in. and just because a box is pre-made doesn't mean it's a POS. The subzone box is built very well, and I think it's a great choice. Also if your planning on putting a 1001 in it, I'm telling you from experience that it's a perfect match.
