Just wondering what sounds best in a contour svt? looking for two tweleves and amp ....looking for deep bass that sounds good in car and out
any suggestions

wow... thats like asking what kind of porn is best. there are many opinions! maybe give us a budget and what you listen to.
oh, and as far as the "sounds good out of the car"... well, nothing sounds good on the outside. think rattles and think annoying your neighbors.

Why do you care what it sounds like outside the car?  Are you going to be running along beside the car while someone else is driving? Oh, I get it... you'll be riding on the roof, won't you. 
My answer as to what sounds best in a Contour? Put your mids/tweets in the kick panels (aimed properly of course) and put 8" subs in the front doors. And don't have any speakers turned on aft of the B-pillar. 
And rule #1, keep the sound INSIDE the car.

2 12" P2 and a Gothic 820 watt amp didnt sound bad. It wasnt a teeth rattler but your neighboors sure will apprciate it As far as outside goes....dont plan on anything great....you got a spoiler? Its gonna rattle among alot of other things. All in all contour arent just great cars to make bass slammers out of.
