why would i melt a piston if i am tuned correctly with a air to air intercooler?

Again you have failed to address why to remove something BENEFICIAL ESPECIALLY UNDER FORCED INDUCTION.

Could a EGR valve become leaky and not beable to hold past a certain amount of boost and leak the pressure right into the exshaust?

I am pretty sure the MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor voltage would skyrocket well beyond the point where it would trip a Check Engine Light before that would happen.
