I chipped a small piece of my Mirko and simply need to know what material I should use to patch it? The damage is around the outer lip part, pretty small, but visible. I'm no fiberglass expert here! Greg

Bondo.. It's been a good friend to me since my Mirko install. Mine sits about 2" off the ground with the Eibach/Koni suspension.

Mine sits about that low also, just had it painted a week ago, and some jerk ran me off the road! Is the Bondo "Body Filler" the appropriate thing to use? Greg

yeah, thats what you want to use. My best advice is to apply it to the area needed and shape it as best as possible. The warmer the outside temperature is, the faster this stuff drys, so if your doing this in a cold garage it may take awhile. Anyways, whenever ive used this stuff, i usally dont wait for it to cure completely. Wait for it to get pretty hard, but somewhat soft enough to where its easy to sand to the desired shape. Sometimes it may take 2-3 applications to get the desired shape you want.

I was thinking of doing the same thing. Should be relatively easy on such a small area. I'll let you know how it turns out.

I'd use the Fiberglass Reinforced Bondo over the plain filler. It holds better and has a better chance of not cracking and breaking loose. http://www.bondo-online.com/catalog_item.asp?itemNbr=208

i recomend duraglass-easy to work with, tough as nails, and dry to sand in about 20 minutes. this is what i'm using right now to repair mine.
