I want to get rims other than my stock ones but I dont know what to go with 17 or 18. I want rims that will still have good performance and will still have a comfortable ride. Any suggestions on what I should get? And how about tire size?

18s are heavy, and may have rubbing issues. do a search for more details. I went with 16s, to keep tires affordable, but 17s look hot. If you want a smooth ride, you really need 16s, IMHO. 205/55R16 is a very good comprimise. 17s need a very low-profile tire to keep the speedo accurate, but shouldn't be super-harsh.

I would get a set of ultralite 17's.

18's are butt fugly, heavy, and just plain silly.

I thought about 18's briefly but decided on 17's. The roads around where I live pretty much suck. I figured 18's wouldn't give me enough sidewall for a "comfortable" ride and protection against tire/rim damage. The suspension makes it stiff enough. I'm happy with my 215/45/17's.

i run 18's NO RUB AT ALL, the only thing i did was to prevent it, and it took maybe 30 seconds, i'm running a 225/40 tires on my 18's. Let me know if you need a pic cause most people know i'm famous for my one quarter shot, since it isn't warm and its SNOWING and we just got like 6", so i can't get any new pics. AHHHH MICHIGAN SUCKS!

I'm actually in the process of lowering my car, i jsut gotta buy my springs, which i'm probably ordering today

Im probly getting 18's and was thinking of getting 215/40/18's becuz 215/35/18's is to low profile for MI roads...sadly...
