The ford plug is the same as the autolite plug... For the Duratec, the Autolite you want is the APP764... It is the double plat. plug, but it is worth the difference in price.

I dunno the part number for the Zetec...

EDIT: Some people have had good luck with the FRPP 9mm wires... Others have said they aren't as good as stock for a durability standpoint. Although, they are more than likely my next set of wires...

I have 9mm FRR wires on mine ... no problems, except a little bit of a fitment issue. Two years and no problems, I'd go with them again because they are dirt cheap and look nice in blue.

the OEM wires are the preferred choice for durability and useability, however 9mm FMS wires are a viable alternative, if you must.

Curious what is the plug number at the dealer? Double platinums
Tnx

In 2002 I got the last of the motocraft doubles AGSF32PPM @Autozone same as the APP764 Autolites. Long story I won't bore everyone as how I got it cross referenced. Now Advanced, Autozone and Motocraft are showing AGSF32FM and not a FEM/PPM (single plat instead of the doulbe plats???) www.motorcaft.com If you've ever searched on my ID Posts you will see my findings using the PCM's minor misfire tests on the three rears plugs. Those that fire reversed ground to center electrode erodeing the ground electrode.
I'm still not conviced the new fine wires will work, until I try it them and run my tests. The rear bank plugs only!

Just checked on the Motorcraft site the AGSF32PPM is still out there It listed under the 2002 Taurus/Sable 3.0 VIN "U" that the Duratec under the premium plug the standard AGSF32FM.

Went to the Dealership today to pic up plugs and wires.
I asked for the double platinums And the plugs they gave me were Part number AGSF32FM, they are platinum plugs but not sure if they are double, how do you tell?
Had a misfire in cyl. 1, just installed bosch +4 two weeks ago. Not sure if the plugs were the problem or not but with the ford platinums and new ford wires the car runs great so far.
