The wifes 2000 SVT started surging in 3rd gear at low <3200rpms. This surging quits when the IMRC switched to the short runners, but the car only does it in third. It almost bucks.
New fuel pump. car has 88K. I'll be replacing the fuel filter and spark plugs later this week. Throttle body was cleaned (it didn't help). The inside of the upper intake was surprisingle clean, TB was a little crusty.
Any ideas? Car still gets the same mileage, no obvious loss of power. Throttle application or rate of accelleration don't change the bucking.
