Has anyone installed the 18" X 8" Focus RS wheels on their Car? I ordered (5) 17" X 7.5" Mirage wheels from Team Dynamics back on October 11th of last year and they still aren't here so I'm thinking of getting some Focus RS wheels instead, but I want some more information first. I would like to know how much the wheels weigh. I would also like to know if they rub. And if so, where? Lastly, will the Focus RS wheels accept a 235/35-18 or 245/35-18 tire?
Any information would be appreciated.

I do not think anyone has tried putting them on a contour. But I think they would look too big. 17" FSVT wheels look very good. But if you do the tire size that came on the Focus RS is a 225/40/18. Im not really sure if they will rub. HTH

No, I believe somebody has. Correct me if I am wrong anyone, but I thought Suniel's ebay ad said the car came with 18 inch Focus RS wheels...

it comes with the wheels, but they're not mounted

I believe they fit but they're pretty heavy for a 17"

i almost bought those but was kinda scared. i talked to one guy who had them on his ZX3 but he say he added a wide body kit. i ended up buying some 18x8 Axis wheels with 22/40/18 tires and they rubbed like mad. i cut the fender lips out and its all good now. although, i think i need to nip/tuck a little more still.

The wheels should be fine they have a 42 mm offset which is the same as my 18" enkei rims and I have no rubbing issues. I don't know how it would be on a lowered car, cause mine isn't.

yes, but are your wheels 8 inches wide. that is where the majority of the problem lies with the rs wheel.

that is because they are an 18  and they actually are not that heavy at all. i was able to pick one up at NOPI this year and they are actually quite light for how big they are. couldn't find anyone to answer my questions about them at the show though, so all i can say is they felt much lighter than my wheels and mine weigh in at a hefty 24 lbs(17 in).

I have a set of RS Limited 18x7.5 rims on my car. 42 offset no problems what so ever
1998 SVT contour.. #3699. 18" ADR's, Tinted windows, Tinted tails, Flowmaster mufflers, Removed resonator, Painted grills, Svt overlays, New headlights with clear corners, 10" Solo L7, 1500watt P Miller amp, Panasonic deck.
