I checked recently with Crutchfield and when using their car fitting program contours with the premium sound systems no full range speakers are listed

What gives? frown

have car manufactures stopped making 6X8 cutouts?

It's probably because they no longer make the car. I am pretty sure the focus could be used though, It has 5x7/6x8s in it too.

just browse the 5x7 or 6x 8 section rather than searching by your specific car, i found it gives you more results that way. once youve picked them just be sure to double check that it will fit in your car for depth, and youll be all set

Yeah, there are a lot of speakers out there, that most stores say wont fit.. but they dont have a clue, cause they just pop right in! trust me, Ive had some! just like stated above pick one of the same size hole, then make sure the depth clears, and you have found yourself a set!!

Oh, and I live only 30min from the Crutchfield outlet store here in VA, so I could find some Im sure! wink

I would suggest you try the Crutchfield Car Model Select again.

It came up blank for me the first time but now shows 3 models for the front and 6 models for the rear (although I thought both front and back doors used the exact same speaker size - not sure why the difference.)

the reason for differences in speakers fitting front and back doors would be the mounting depth
