As far as I can tell, the only thing the "Tuner Shops" have over the regular place is that they offer their "unique" cars there for sale.

To me building some sick ass fast car and racing it against cars that are half the HP is kinda stupid. I mean it is fun sometimes but it doesn't really make you a much better driver. From what I heard 60 aspec points means your cars are "equaly" matched so its more of a divers race. Now granted aspec points don't mean a damn thing, just bragging rights. But just keep that in mind the next tiem its giving you 0, or 1 point for the race that its not fair. I try to keep my cars in the 40-50 point range because im not that good yet, but I have still won races worth over 100 points.
And the game is jsut sick, has many great features and does lack a few. It looks great on my 50" hdtv and surround sound.

Is that what the scoring is supposed to mean?
I've handily won races worth 249 points and I don't even consider myself an excellent GT4 player. I've also ran races with lightly modded cars worth XX points and came back again with a souped-up Beast of a car and had them be worth the same exact A-Spec points.

actually i stumbled upon something at the "tuner" shops. they have a special turbo kit for sale. i forget which car i found this with but it offers a stage 5 kit. when you read the description it says it's the ultimate turbo kit offering strong power throughout the entire power band. It didn't give me as much power as the stage 4 kit but that kit give just about all the power at the top end and nothing down low or mid. that kit was the only difference i've seen thus far.

Maybe you have in a mission hall, thats a little different, that is jsut how many points those are worth, the other races are a max of 200 points.

So how many of you are using a wheel/pedals and actualy like it. I have contemplated getting a set. But some games are better than others for wheels, i.e Nascar is good, since no turning realy. I think Logitech has the best out there for the money, any inputs. Anything good thats compatible with pc/ps2/x-box?
