The same argument could be said about someone who uses a wheel over a controller. I still disagree. I'm not saying one way is better then another, I'm saying that one way may be better for you then it is me. I learned to play the game on PS1 using the analog sticks and then later switched to full digital because I find I can react quicker and with more precision with a digital setup.

Forza looks good and i love my xbox, but recently my ps2 has been neglected for halo2. honest opinions please.

No, GT4 isn't worth it for you. If you had a hard time with NFSU1, you should probably stick to games with Barney or the Teletubbies in them. maybe a little Blue's Clues to mix it up.
gotcha. so u wanna play halo2 sometime?
now that the condescending [censored] are done, how about someone with a bit of courtesy chimes in.

not so much as condescending, but humorous ribbing at your difficulty w/ NFSU1, which at least I found to be almost frustratingly easy. It really sounds like GT4 isn't your cup of tea, since it is a much more realistic look at racing, and requires some serious dedication and practice to get very good at it. While not perfect, it really is one of the closest mass market interpretations of what real open track racing is like.
As to the Halo2 comment, sure, but I've probably spent a grand total of 10 minutes w/ an xbox controller in my hand . . . how about some Half-Life 2? or some Ace Combat 5 (or 4 even) ?

Rara, I'll hit you up on HL2, or Counterstrike... (source, or 1.5/1.6Steam)
Ace Combat, meh.. I've always stuck with MS Flight sim, and Combat flight sim (Euro, and Pacific)...
I grew up on Chuck Yeager's Air Combat..

i have to chime in on the analog v digital argument for a second. i've tried all three methods and i have to say the wheel w/ pedals is f-ing outstanding. the game play is so real, it's almost silly. i find myself getting sore in tournaments, esp knees, from working the pedals very very carefully. it's a whole other level from analog. when i first got the wheel i was frustrated because i was losing matches that i easily won with the standard controller. with practice, i am far faster with the wheel. and it is so much easier and intuitive to feather the throttle and experiment with real driving techniques like left-foot braking. i found my wheel on ebay, brand new, for $25. well worth the investment to get the full potential from the game.
i only wish i had a clutch pedal!
