story here

In a world filled with the walking dead, he was truly a live one.

I am not surprised that he chose to leave this world on his own terms.

Probably to tie some loose ends of his legacy up. That's usually how people of his mold attempt to establish a method of remembrance. The beginner of the thread is evidence; he killed himself because he thought people would only understand him, or understand him more, if he did so.

Thank you for our daily dose of psycho-babble.

Actually, I am not surprised that Thompson killed himself because he's been making irrational decisions for a long time. I am a big fan of his writing, but I wouldn't leave my kid with him. I have not gained any further understanding of the man because of it. I don't see any evidence here for such a ridiculous thought.

I was just wondering if anyone really dug deep into the suicide... I mean is there an actual written in stone reason, not everyone else opinion of theory?

Now that Hunter S. Thompson is gone, somebody has to do it.
