As a spin off of Pole120's post, I am also interested in a way to get paint off my splitter as well. I know there has to be another way than sandpaper....please?...

To answer my own question (and Pole120's), Klean Strip makes fiberglass paint stripper. I just ordered some from another Marine/Boating shop (they are loving me), so we'll see how it works out. For 13.99 + 7.50 in shipping, I think it's worth it not having to sand it all off.

Because since our winter storms a few months ago, my splitter looks like a dalmation....I'll be repainting it the same color again. I'm hoping to get a better primer/bond this time also, along with removing a few blemishes from the first paint job.
