Hey Guys, Well I broke down and got a Screen for the Car today. Its a MA audio one. Has a real nice picture quality. Although, one tiny pixel is like blue. Is this defective. SHould I go exchange it? Or is this type of thing normal. Its not super bad, but its there.
You can really only see it on black stuff.

Yeah I will see what I can do with that. Newman, I have some negine whine. I have searched and found a number of differant things. Now once in a while with my power inverter turned on (hard wired) I can hear that through my speakers. At idle I have a little bit of static then as I rpms go up I hear a whine. I have a Kenwood deck....4 chan amp and 2 chan amp (for subs) powered with 4 guage through a distribution block and cap (for the sub). I have the battery in the trunk so the power line/rca cables arnt that close. I am thinknig it is the ground of something. How do I stop this? I sanded off the areas so the paint is gone and yet I still have it. What should I do?
Thanks

Whine is usually caused by ground loops... multiple grounds throughout the car. Try connecting all grounds locally to one access point, if that is a feasible option. Also.. if not an option, make sure that your ground cables are LESS THAN 3 feet long, each. You could always purchase a "ground loop isolator" from Rat Shack, if consolidating the grounds isn't an option.
I would go for the consolidation, first, as it is free, and almost sure to fix you up. (hopefully your grounds are "close" to each other..

Well it is hard to get everything grounded in the same spot. Also the wire is longer than 3 feet and it needs to be to reach. I will go out and get one of ground loop things. Are they like a resistor? do they go "in-line"
