About 6 months ago one of the hardcore Zetec guys had posted a very detailed post about removing the cylinder head.


I think the head gasket had went bad and he did the work himself.


I am in the same situation and I need to read that post entirely... but I cant find it.



Can someone help me find that post?


It has hundreds of pictures and info.

I hope you have somewhere warm to do the job.
I spent half a day removing the head off a car in the junkyard last dec. The car was sitting on top of another car.
Since they had not drained the oil and the coolant I had to work around the coolant hoses.
Once I had to remove a hose, the hood of the car i was standing on got really slippy.

That is exactly correct.
If you tossed that parasite and put individual throttle bodies on the intake....35 horses would be yours.
