The way I did it was to be rear ended while sitting at a light by another tour at 50mph.. the ashtray was in the back seat when I came to. If you can't find another tour to do that for you, then you open the ash tray.. "whirrrrrrrr... it is sliding open, whee..." and then just reach your fingers in there, and pull out until it clicks out of the holding slot for it. Basically no secrets... just pull...
