Okay - Here's my story.
I started out with 18" Konig Blatants over two years ago - and loved them.... Then shortly after the following pictures were taken I badly bent one of the wheels on a moon crater sized pothole.
At this point, I needed to replace the rim and the tire. Wheel = 240 + 100 for a tire. = tooo much for my college sized wallet.
I found a steal on a used set of 18s with tires....and couldn't pass it up....scrounged for the money and came home with 18" Enkei RS5's in Brand new rubber.

Now I've got the money I need - So I purchased a 4th Konig.

I want the CEG to give me an opinion - which wheels do you prefer - as I now have a choice to go with either set.

Konig Blatants - in Black Opal Perlescent color
Enkei RS5's in Silver color

Here are the Konig Blatants.......

And - Here are the Enkei RS5s.........

Thanks for your thoughts....

Enkei RS5's for sure.

Which one's lighter?

I remember the RS5's were surprisingly light in 16 inch. They were also reasonably priced at the time, and very attractive, and therefore very popular with Contour owners. If you are after exclusivity, you might not want to keep them.

But, IMO, they are a good looking wheel and lighter than most. I think they work, visually, better than your Konigs, which are a bit too edgy for the contours of the Contour.

The Enkeis are nice, but simply look like an "enlarged version" of the stock SVT wheels. Part with the Enkeis, and stay with the Konigs. The multi-spoke and polished aluminum design add much more character. Nice work on the tires too, they look like a 19" setup .

Thanks for all the opinions..... truly i'm torn on which to use - However, I'm leaning toward the Konigs at this point.
It is a discontinued wheel now - and it was expensive - so I will be less likely to see another contour with the same wheels - although I have seen a black SVT with the same wheels in the same size....

And Yes, Whatever set I do not put on the car will be sold, I do not need three sets of wheels for my car...

Keep the feedback coming.

I have been thinking about purchasing a set strickly for the track. If all else fails I will stay with my 19s for street, and stock 16s for track. Check this thread out and let me know what you think...

Oh, I gotta do this....(Goonz, shhhh ) I like the RS5's, although i am somewhat biased, plus it's the official CEG wheel last time i knew.

I know it needs lowering, that's why I have a box full of Koni's in my room, just waiting for springs

These aren't me, but RS5's none the less...
