Holy jeez was that a pain!! I forgot how cramped that dang engine bay was. Removing the alternator and installing headers is like "how to use 3 feet of extensions and wobbles 101". You really have to get creative with those things. Especially with the rear header studs on top which you cant even see when you take them out. Or the front manifold when your gear wrench goes one click at a time. Or when you take out the alternator, with two wobbles, going from the driver wheel well all the way across to the passenger side. I am incredibly sore, and will probably be worse tomorrow. It took me and my roommate 6 hours yesterday and 4-5 hours today. Whew!
Secondly, I have a huge exhaust leak. I dropped the doughnut gasket for the y pipe and it broke in two. Who knew they were so brittle! I have to get a new one in there ASAP, cause broken it doesnt work well at all

All I hear from under the car is "psh psh psh psh psh psh. . . . . " You get the idea.
Lastly, Ive only been on one drive. It was with my roommate (who helped the whole time. I owe him a couple of drinks when we go out tomorrow) and my girlfriend, so 3 people in the car. Found a nice onramp, and let her rim. I am able to chip my 1-2 shift with 3 people at altitude. NIIIIIICCCCEEEE. Also, my exhaust sounds straight up mean now. Still no rasp, even when cold. I have to get some clips ASAP. Cant wait for the drive when I get my new gasket and Im by myself.
Overall first impression very good!
Oh yeah, cant wait for my dyno at Spring Zing!
