Sony has made higher end equipment through the years, but at the same price point, I would say Kenwood stacks up pretty well.

I here rockford makes a decent sub, but from my own experience their HU's bite. I've owned sony, pioneer and kenwood. They all push harder and sound much clearer. The only upside to RF is the three seperate rca outs, for front, back, and sub controlled amps.

98 countour SE I believe that RF HUs are made by Fujitsu Ten. I doubt they are bad in any way, but they are probably overpriced like the rest of RFs equipment.

You must have had the old style rockford decks. They used to suck and were butt ass ugly. A friend of mine owns one and he absolutely loves it. There new ones are all chrome and silverish. Theyre ****ing nice and the sound is VERY clean. I think it was 800 bux COST on it tho, not sure what the retail value is. So yea i agree on the overpriced part.
