Okay, I know this sound odd, but...Whenever I turn, specifically parking or turning the wheel hard, and more often when turning to the right, there is a very distinctive sound of fluid. It sounds like a waterfall, literally. I can't figure out where it is coming from or what the hell it is. I know it is probably stupid but I've never heard this before in any other car, so I'm stumped. Does anyone have any remote clue what I am describing?

Are you sure you aren't hearing the PS switching to high pressure mode? makes a slightly "swishy/airy" sound whenever the wheel is turned all the way to the lock on either side.

The only other "liquid" song is the coolant bubling after turning the car off, but wouldn't increase, or start when parking/turning.

It depends on how slight you mean by "slightly"...If you mean that it is a faint sound, then no. It is very distinctive, and you don't have to try to hear it. Sounds like water draining. I didn't think it was the PS because like I said, I've never heard it before.

I remember this happening in my Mom's Taurus. Passenger side right? I thought it was rain water draining down the wheel well. Few days later I notice that there was no coolant in the recovery tank. You can guess the rest.

Stupid plastic tank somehow had a small hole in it. Check you coolant!

Sounds right but the recovery tank is full and there is no coolant on the ground...Your description is very similar to mine though.

Well, as stated.. start the car, and turn the wheel all the way to one side until it stops turning.. Now... hold it against the lock for a SPLIT second (don't want to burn out your PS pump....) and hear the sound it makes... if that is it, then you are done.. if not, then you can further eliminate that from the equation.
