Just checking...If I haven't had a speeding ticket in 18 months and it wasn't more than 25mph over the speed limit, I'm good for traffic school again right? I sure hope so...

Every 18-months in Cali you can do Traffic School......

you can do time and a half if you beg..

meaning, if you tell the judge that you NEED your car for work than they will typically allow you to go to traffic school within that period. except, they stick it to ya, by making you go for 12 hours instead of 8
i got this last time. i had never heard of this but was lucky enough to watch the guy in front of me do it and it worked for me too. then, i was lucky enough to find that elusive traffic school tht they tell you doesnt exist that let me pay my way out of attendance, at least the last 4 hours.

i usually hear it refered to as traffic school 2 and you can go depending on upon the county in which you were ticketed. for example most counties allow you to attend but orange county does not allow this although every once in a while someone in harbor court will approve anyways. the class is the exact same stupid class as before except you spend 12 hours instead of 8. i highly recommend the comedy schools.

i have seen ads for "real" comedy schools in which actual comedians "teach" the class but they were EXPENSIVE! but hey, to be entertained well for 8 hours... i have also heard of stripper traffic schools...pizza party traffic school..and there is even online traffic school but that probably depends on the county. i highly recommend spending the extra cash and doing one that will at least keep you enterainted for the 8 hours cuz it is sooooooooo boring and bringing something to read or listen to etc is verboten! the online one i heard is pretty cool. youre supposed to sit there and read a ton of cr*p all day and then take little quizzes or something at certain times to make sure you are "at" the computer like your supposed to be. i havent seen it, only heard about it. but hey, you can at least do it in your underwear while posting in this forum
