did anyone else find installing these an absolute PITA?
i wish i wouldve had the mechanic at work do it for me.
it was alot more time consuming than i read from other peoples experiences, and installing the oil pressure sending unit took FOREVER.
all in all, i cant complain bc it looks great and was well worth it.

i didnt think it was that hard. Hardest part was fitting the gauges in the pod. I had to actually sand the openings a bit to get them to fit.
Where did you tap the oil pressure gauge?

I've installed volts and A/F but haven't got around to the oil pressure yet... I'm waiting for a warm day. The oil is really the only PITA... Otherwise i found it pretty easy... Oh and no need for a mechanic on this

i realize there was no need for a mechanic, but the oil pressure really was a pain. i tapped in down by the a/c compressor.
like i said it was a pita, but well worth it.

You should have tapped in on the rear of the cylinder head, same place we tap for the oil supply to the turbos. It also gives a good indication of oil supply pressure to the heads.

yeah, i was going to do that, but i heard doing it on the bottom gives a quicker reading. quicker as far as if i were to lose all oil pressure i would know right away, whereas if you do it on top it takes longer to read that.
