with a piece of strong string and a hair dryer. all you need. might wanna wear gloves. heat up the adhesive with the hair dryer as you go and slide the string underneath the guard itself. you will also need somehting to remove the excess adhesive

AMEN to that. The end of my right thumb is still recovering and I did it 2 weeks ago. It filled up with liquid and I burst it to relieve the pressure, oh but my car is gorgeous, worth every bandaid!
