Heres a stupid guestion i looked for about a hour and i couldnt find anything on it but im trying to install a turbo from a volvo 780D its water cooled and about 7 and a half psi from what i saw but the prob;em is i cant find any way to get oil to the thimg am i thick or something did i miss a useable oil line i looked for about an hour and came up with squat i went to napa to look for a part that goes in in front of the oil filter with two lines comeing out and all they had was chevy.

Question how did you guys solve this delema.

So you are looking to put a turbo from a diesel with a low rpm range of operations on a high rpm engine and you are worried about making a braided oil line?


I think you are doing to have more issues then that.

no it was a gas engine i didnt mean to put that (D) in there sorry

HOW ABOUT SOMEONE ANSWER ME OPPOSED TO GIVEING ME A HARD TIME BECAUSE I HIT THE WRONG BUTTON. I'M TRYING TO GET SOMETHING DONE I WANTED IT DONE A WEEK AGO BUT I NEED A LITTLE HELP, THATS WHY I CAME HERE. NOW I KNOW SOMEBODY KNOWS THE ANSWER, I'M NOT TRYING TO BE AN ASS HERE BUT I'M GROWING A LITTLE IMPATENT. AND YES I KNOW I CAN'T SPELL DON'T EVER START. THANK YOU.

Tap the oil pan or use the outlet lines from the SVT air-to-water oil cooler if you have an SVT.

Caps lock is your friend.

I'll humor you.....

You can get oil from the head. There is a grub screw you can remove that is in an oil supply gallery on the back head. It's what the ADC kit does (with a restictor in line to regulate oil flow).

To find which one search the Duratec Mods section for (head oil pressure) and you should find pictures and description of where this tapping point is.

Ask the Zetec guys where they tap into their engines for oil pressure.
