Well i was wiring the doors and had to dremel a bit of that factor plug that the factory wires plug into from the door to the car..know what i mean? Anyways i was wondering if anyboyd else found a better way to do it so i can run a higher guage of wire. Thanks.

Are you talking about the pin connector that snaps on/off of the 6x8 speaker basket? or the "sealed" rubber gromet that routes all the wires from the cabin to the door?

Also i just got panasonic components in today so i'll be doing this tonight. just takin some suggestions on where to put the tweeters. I was thinking in the little side window defrost panel thing (lol sorry for my bad termonology).

I think I tried putting tweeters in that defrost panel and it didn't work. I don't think it would go flush without obstructing the defroster. Or maybe it was a wiring issue...could get tough to wire. The slopes at the top of the door panel kinda rule that out. I don't have a very good picture of my doors in my head right now so I can't give any good suggestions. I'll get back later.
