I am upgrading my entire system. I was wondering what is the maximum wattage that the factory speaker wire can handle? I was thinking of using that wire instead of replacing it all. The output of the AMP is 4X200 watts.

Just replace the wire. I dont know what the stock can hold but its sooo small. You will get better sound if you change it. It doesn't take too long.

My amp is 65wx4 and the factory speaker wire handles it just fine. I doubt I would want to push 200w through it though. And unless you want to cut new holes in your doors, which I didn't, replacing the factory wires isn't so easy.

small speaker wire can handle about 45-75 watts. if you're gonna be using a 200 watt amp, id suggest using 8 or 12 gauge wire. for 2 reasons, 1. it will bring more power to the speakers thus sounding better 2. it will be easier to wire than using stock speaker wires

small speaker wire can handle less than 45 watts for clarification. stock speakers are 22 watts.

I am pushing around 100 watts to my Boston Components up front and about 80 to my vegas in the rear. I am sure the factory wires will work but since I had everything taken apart I figured I would replace it all.

Its actually 2 separate AMPS that are 2channel X 200 watts = 100 watts per channel max. I guess I will have to replace all the wiring and end up drilling new holes in the doors.
