I used Big Mac Sauce, and rubbed it between my crotch. Next I put on my Dragonball Z boxers, and went jogging for 3 miles. It was a great upgrade. If you can't get Big Mac sauce, Tartar will do just fine.

I have to try that BBQ sause trick... Anyways, I will be getting components from Vifa, which will include an 8" Woofer in the door, a 5.25" mid, and a 1" Tweeter in a set of custom kickpanels. This is in a Focus BTW, but it's the same setup. Oh yeah, I also have the PB15 from Lambda Accoustics, which beats up on JL's subs and takes thier lunch money

Custom 6.5"/1" components up front, stock rears, 8" sub in the rear deck. Add a cheap amp and I think it sounds pretty good for $250.

6.5" Audiobahn components up front. Some 6.5" Attitude mids in the rear doors. Twin 8" Audiobahns in the rear deck. Running the components and subs off of a 4ch US Acoustics amp (rear doors off of Pioneer HU). Am happy except for the on-going elimination of rattles.

I have Vifa 1" soft dome tweeters, and 6.5" peerless CSC-X midbass drivers..easy fit with an MDF plate for depth clearance. I dont have speakers in the rear doors, but I did cover up the holes with the heavy box material used by Volenhag to ship subs!.. By the way, I may be selling my tweeters due to upgrade, and I have some Morel 6.5" drivers...so there you have a cheap combo that is really excellent,,,you provide crossovers...:-)

Diamond Audio 5 1/4 components up front and stock-size Polks for rear fill.
I took some 1/4" ply and made plates to fit the hole in the door where the front speakers went and sunk the drivers in 'em-- so it looks stock. Ran the tweeter wires behind the dash and put 'em at the base of the windshield pillars-- no holes drilled. Removed the factory amp from its mounting plate and mounted my crossovers to the plate-- hidden and no rattles.
Because I didn't want to drill holes in my doors for wire, I'm using the factory speaker wires. Believe it or not, they work just fine. Amps are mounted to the back of the rear seats, Solo-baric sub in the trunk . . . when you look in the car all you see is the Alpine and tweeters.
