Well, I've had my SVT for about a month now and have just noticed a sticker under the hood saying that my PCM has been modified by the Ford Motor Company. I was just wondering what this is good for and what they may have moded it to?

1989 Toyota Corolla (Totaled, now father car) 1990 Isuzu Trooper (Sold for more than bought) 1998 Ford Contour SE (Totaled in moutains) 1990 Toyota Supra (Blown head gasket) 1998 Ford Contour SVT (So far so good ::knocks on wood::)

Most likely means that they reflashed the PCM to the newer (much better) 2000 PCM code.

EDIT: it could also mean they performed any number of recalls, such as the threshold modification for CEL light up on the exhaust.

Not possible. The PCM's & strategy are different much the less the fact the code is completely different.

All it means is they did some TSB flash at one point.
It also means if you ever wanted to chip it that may be a problem.

2000 SVT #674 13.47 @ 102 - All Motor! It was not broke; Yet I fixed it anyway.

"The more you know..."..

I stand corrected... I was under the impression that you could reflash to a newer version..
