How could he own a black SVT is he is considering GETTING one and doesn't know anything about them?? ???  unless you were referring to someone else, and the post you made was just devoid of any/all splitting points between your comment to the original poster and said friend that is near you, in which case retract my previous statement. My Ins Co charges $13 more per month for the SVT. Worth every penny IMHO.
I was also looking at the Jetta, but the SVT costs half as much and is far more car, although I think the Jetta would be more durable. The downside is when you go to sell it, and it will then be worth 1/3 of a comparable Jetta.
i pay $4200 a year for my V6 SE. what company do you have? i have no at fault accidents and 1 speeding ticket

I am with American Family. The SVT runs about $1000 per year.
Keep in mind I am 47 and have no points on my license.

Oh hey, that's me!
My CSVT is silver with a silver painted lower rear facia. Been driving my yellow MSP lately, as I've been doing some suspension and brake work on the SVT.
She'll (hopefully) be back to DD duty next week.
