i got a ? which speaker will performe better a battery with a high db or one with a low db?also the lower the hz the better?i really want to know.

Hz is a mesaure of frequency. Low pitched sounds (bass) are low frequencies and high pitch sounds are high frequencies.

db is refering to sensitivity. its how loud a speaker plays with a certain amount of power. for instance a speaker with a sensitivity of 92 db should play twice as loud with the same power as one with 89 db. the higher the louder mostly

HZ is frequency. low notes=low numbers, high=high. the human ear can hear from between 20-20,000 hz.(my system does 18-32,000 hz, cool, eh? ) to give you an idea where things are, bass drums are probably around 40-50 hz, singers are around 500-1000 i believe, cymbals probably in the 6000-7000 range, etc.

There's only one problem to efficiency ratings. Every manufacturer measures them differently as there's no standard, and some exaggerate them (through testing methods) to make their speakers appear more efficient.

I had some 90dB Pioneer speakers that produced just about the exact same volume level as some 94dB Audiobahn speakers given the same input. I put one in each door of my truck to test their measure of efficiency, and to my ears they sounded equally loud no matter the volume setting.

so the more db the louder the speaker and the lower the hz the finer the music.it picks up the the hard lower notes.

well, the higer db means louder pretty much, yeah. but hz is different. a speaker plays a huge range of different notes. a subwoofer is pretty limited though, you probably only want it to play notes 100 hz and lower. mine play 80 hz and lower.
