None Yet I can get a 2002 Taurus Engine from my friends job for 350. I can get a Escape Engine for 1000. I wanted to know what is the major differance in the engine. They are both rated the same in horsepower. Which one is an easier swap?

i have the taurus block. (beleive) they are exactly the same block. $350 is a steal! If of course is in good condition with low miles.

Make sure the Taurus engine in question is a Duratec and not the much more common Vulcan.
I recommend an 01+ full Oval Port engine. You can't beat it, in any area. 'nuff said.
