I thought I might as well go ahead and ask another question. From the driver side the only window that will go up and down is the front driver's side window. We can put the windows up using the control at the window but it won't work any more from the driver's side. Is this a relay?

Sounds like the master switches on the driver's door to me. I saw one for sale on eBay when i was looking last night.....

I had a sim problem with my CSVT. I wasn't able to put up the driver's side windows using the master control switch. Every once and awhile, I could get them to work if I pressed really hard. It's a simple solution really. Take the unit out, and pull/pry it apart, being careful not to break the plastic. Then, once open, file the metal conductors. They can get dirty or corode, and once this happens, when they touch, the circuit does not complete. So, if you clean off the dirt, then they can touch and complete the circuit. If ya want, send it to me. I'll fix it no charge other than the shipping. It's really not too hard. The hardest part is finding something small enough to get in there to clean the metal. Hope this helps.

The single switches aren't too bad to open & clean. That master switch would probably be a lot harder to put back together I'd think, but I guess it's been done before.

It really wasn't too bad. The cover if you will, was cliped on via 4 plasic pieces. They actually looked like the plastic snaps Craftsman uses on some of those tool boxes. I really wish I had taken pictures. Maybe i'll pull it apart again to snap a few....

I have the same prob on my SE and I will be taking mine apart when the weather gets nicer to fix. Shouldn't be too bad...

Exactly right Marky. There are so many nooks and crannies, that you'll never be able to whipe that stuff off of everything, not will you be able to completely whipe it off the plastic, and the plastic will get soft and "melt" possibly changing shape or cracking. To clean those metal tabs, a small jewelery file is the best way. If a couple people would like, I can do it again to mine taking pics and make a How-To.
