At 3am this morning, my father passed away. He was diagnosed with stomach cancer, got 2/3rds of it taken out during surgery last July. Was doing very well until about a month ago when he couldn't eat anymore and became weak.
Never in my wildest dreams did I think this would happen to me or my family, especially this early in life. I'm 23, too damn young to lose my dad.
Live today to the fullest, you never know what will happen tomorrow.

Mt deepest condolences.
My father passed away November 2002 from cancer of the pancreas, and my mother got diagnosed rouhgly one year later with ovarian cancer.
Sorry to hear about it, it's so hard to lose parents, especially at a young age.

Sorry to hear that JVT.
My dad and I have rebuilt our relationship that was severely strained when he and my mom split. There was a period of nearly 6 months where we did not speak at all. But it's hard to hate a man whose been there for you all your life.
