Check PEPBOYS or Auto Zone, thats were I got my paints from. I bought the "trim paint" in back to use as a primer on the plastic pieces(since it sticks better), then I painted over the black with a dark red vinyl color so the doors can match the dash.

What parts inside of the car are you planning on painting?

Check out the model car paints. They have some really cool colors.

You would have to buy an airbrush kit for them also. They might work though. I havn't tried to use mine inside of the car, I just use it on my r/c covers.

krylon and rust-oleum worked best for me. local hardware store will have a sweet collection usually. any hobby stores will have nicer paints made for this use but will cost more or the same but you get less.

I sprayed mine back in September with another product. They looked good for a while but once I stoped putting ArmorAll on them the paint started to crack off as it dried up. I had to respray them again.

I was going to make a mold of one of my back panels tomorow before the FOOTBALL game so that I can glass and spray it to see how it would look. I wasn't sure if anyone had tried that, but I didn't check the archives to find out. I was qouted $500 per panel by a shop close to my house, which is the reason I want to try it myself(just to see how much $$$ I could save).

I hate to get off of the subject a little, but does anyone know what type of fabric is used on the head board, rear view mirrors and the rear speaker deck(under back window). I thought about applying resin directly to those pieces since they were already factory shaped, but didn't know if it would work. I thouht they were a poly/cotton blend(I could be wrong). I was going to spray those also...

No, I mean the spray cans. 1 was all I needed to paint my dash and related parts. I used a good clearcoat and it has'nt chipped or scratched in over 3 years.

I'll have to go to a hobby store after work and check that stuff out.
