my body kit from the group buy is coming in two weeks.
i dont haev much cash to get the car repainted. so i was thinking of just having the car painted matte black. old school lead sled look. then powder coat my rims black. mayeb hints of toredor red here and there.

IMHO, if you Want it that colour than that's up to you. If it's cause you can't afford the paint you want, then obviously no. Don't cheap out if all it takes is a few more months to get r done. By then winter would be over and summer months approaching.

Black with Red snippets would be coolio.

i have gave it a lot of thought. its not so much the money.
i have looked into non-glossy clear coats to go over it to prtect it more. i dont want it to look like i used a spray can. i want it to be done just like it were getting the full on color paint job. just matte black will be used or primer black. it really wont cost much more to have it painted red agian but i think the black will make it look mean. like i said with the red here and there.
the tail lights are red i want to paint the trim around my grill red. i was thiking maybe some red retro pinstrips on the trunk lid. oh i am going to take off the spoiler.
i want people to look at it and not think that its just being preped for paint i want them to think that it could almost be a modern day leadsled.
a custom 50's styled merc grill would look sweet also same treament in the bumpers.

anyone no how to photoshop really well?
maybe youcan hook me up with some renderings.
Use the car on andys auto sport
make the orange black and add the grills.
that would be sweet.

I think you should post in aesthetics and you'd get more input/possible photoshops.
