ok the output before the factory amp si a low level output. now do you think if i spliced a set of rca's into this output (from my factory cd player) would i get enough to amp a sub from this? if so does anyone know the wireing code from this output (wirecolor=example yellow= + front left) or would a slice after the amp into a stepdown thingy be more realistic???

You will want a high level converter, you can then used the amplified (our unamplified) signal. I recommend one by PAC, it has higher rated components internally

thanks knu, i was gonna buy another cap from you but im trying to sell everything...than itd be pointless....already got rid of my cd player...
