I know some one posted some of this somewhere before but I looked and looked. I want to test my IAC and other similiar internal components to see if everyhing is still working correctly. I'm over 100k now. If anyone has a list of all the ineternal devices and there tolerable resistance can u please post it. Thanks

Man I guess 114k is a lot of miles for a '00 .

You would have to dig this out of the diagnostic procedure for each sensor or actuator from the service manual/CD.

Sounds like a pointless exercise anyway. If a device doesn't work, there will be specific symptoms that will point to it.

You should get a CEL if a sensor is outta range.

A passing thought to get you started....
....I wonder it a sensor has a built in accuracy range, say 5 - 10%. So if a sensor is in this range, its considered OK. Now, I'm thinking this may be done by the PCM. After a period of time, ALL the sensors may be at the extreme limit of the range. Instead of them being out by 5 - 10% each, the combined total MIGHT be greater.
RESULT
Crappy running car, as everything is in range, so the PCM says it OK , no codes.
CONCLUSION
Replacing all sensors at a specific time/mileage will cost $XXX.xx, but the end result is a better running car than the same car, having spent the $$ on speed parts.
PROOF
Now I have to embarass myself by explaining I replaced most sensors in my mad chase for the elusive Buck/Hesatation. The end result has been a pleasant running car. (I'd say faster but I have no actual data)

OK folks....have at 'er...

I've had a similar problem as you WestCoastAjax, I replaced 3 censors (took it to Autozone for the CEL) and still didn't know what was wrong with my car so I finally took it to the dealership and they fixed it for me, turned out it was a vaccum leak. My car hesistated to start half the time and a few time staled on me at a stop light, had this happen sometime before Christmas, and my car still runs great.

This theory assumes that the sensors all go out of range at about the same rate and in the same direction. Not to likely in my book, but maybe.
