Hi, I just purchased a dvd player and a 7" panoramic screen for my car. I was wondering if any of you have video sytems in your cars, and have any pictures of the installs. I don't really know where or how I'm going to mount the screen. I thought of just putting it on the stand and keeping it on my dash when i want to use it, and keeping it in my glove box when not using it. I'm going to have the dvd player mounted in the glove box. Another option would be to have the screen flush mounted where my HU is, but the problem is that it's a pretty small space, and I allready have an audiocontrol eq mounted beneath my HU. Any pics and ideas would be great. Thanks, Vinny

I've been thinking about adding one in the future. I think a good spot might be flushed into the passenger's sun visor. PE has got a 5" visor mount for $140. I don't know if this is a viable option with your screen, though. Some pics to get the idea:

I thought about the sunvisor option, but decided against it. I want to have a good view of the screen from all sections of the car, especially the drivers seat.

Did you buy the panasonic dvd player that just has the flip up screen?Cause I bought the aiwa one and i just had it mounted to the dash on the passenger side. You can actually see the screen nicely from the driver side. It may be kind of hard to see but go to www.zetecinside.com/register and my car is third from top. You should be able to where the screen is located.

wonder if you can get it to pop out from the dash. Maybe get one from the yard and try. It can pop out when you want it.
Shouldn't be to hard!

I like the idea of it popping up from the dash, but I imagine it would be quite difficult to accomplish. Well my dvd player just arrived, and the screen should be delivered by next week, so i'll post results when it's complete.

This certainly is wierd, I've been contiplating installing a video system as well. Basically I am goin to move the HVAC panel into the center console if i can and put the a 7 inch widescreen Audiobahn screen that i just purchased in where the HU and the HVAC panel is. Then put a HU in a Pre 98 Console . Then comes the PS2(since its only 199 now) in the glove box. Now Im just trying to find witch HU, amp, speakers, subs I want and need to find a pre 98 console. This is all in my head right now, but since i got the screen for cost and it looks like its gonna fit perfect i went ahead and bought it. sorry for the ramble i just want see if this will work. any sugestions or ideas is appreciated. Heres is a pic of the screen

I would love to add something but only if I could keep the factory look.
