Tranny mount, or roll resistor?
Does it look anything like this?
 (My old resistor)
If so, that part is roughly $105 and labor is about 1/2 an hour no more. It actally takes about 10 minutes if they have a lift.
I had a bad one for a long while, but it's always good to fix now.

I actually had one of those start to crack on me, so I replaced it with the newer revised one from ford that I got for super cheap from another CEG'er, his tour got totaled before he could put it on. Anyways, my dad and I put it in for a total of an hour of work, we had to use a blowtorch on the bolts for a couple of minutes because they were rusted on there, but the pretty easily came off after we heated them up a bit.
Do those mounts have to be Calibrated also? After I installed my new one it, the car drove better, but when I back off the gas I still get a decent amount of bucking... Not nearly as bad as it was though.

Hi Linda:
I would advise you not to let your broken mount go too long. If you have Air Conditioning, the extra engine movement can cause the manifold connection at your A/C compressor to fail, if that happens you will lose all your refrigerant, learned that lesson the hard way!

the replacement part is found at o reily for $35 and it take less then 1 hour to replace. to replace you unbolt the mount take out all the rubber and the two plastic pieces, take the new part and bend the two tabs out straight and insert the snowflake inside the old housing and you can add some grease or not and add some washers to both side to make up for the loss of space, bolt it back up and its as good as new. this mount also has the rest of the mount system because iam repairing my flywheel.here is the part #629015 brand is PIONEER INC

Welcome to CEG and fellow Northwesterner. Bogged down? I'm not sure what you define that as, but it will make the car shake rattle and roll when you step on the gas or go over speed bumps. Too, it puts extra strain on the tranny and other mounts.
