Well, you can use the search function and find a lot of stuff about this topic. I prefer the sub facing the back and I put it in the corner of the trunk closest to the rear. Also, I have my amp grounded under the center rear seatbelt anchor under the back seat.

I have mine facing rear towards the trunk. I tried them both ways, but the way I have them now seems a little bit louder.

It doesn't matter, but if you fire them towards the front make sure that they are in the very back of the trunk, and not right behind the seat. Also, for the ground, the worst thing you can do is place the ground by the seat belt or seat bolt. You never want to share a ground with or near anything. Drill a new whole in the metal of the trunk(bottom)about 6 inches away from the amp. Don't drill in the gas tank

Don't want to share ground?!? confused It is not bad to share grounds in systems in my previous system and in my 2 friends systems I helped install we had grounds being shared between multiple amps and evening a cap sharing with no problems. I have spoken with several local installers about this on occaision and they all say it is "perfectly ok."

LooneyMP what kind of amps are you using for your system?
