What bearing is this? I'm having the same problem but the noise goes away when I turn right, not left. So should I replace the passenger side bearing and what should it cost to get it replaced?

This happened to my SVT tour as well, i just got it fixed a couple days ago...if you turn left and it goes away, its your front passanger hub assembly, and if you turn right and it goes away, its your drivers side. You will have to get the assembly replaced and the bad thing is that its a couple hundred bucks to replace, but at least the noise will be gone.

That was the first problem I had with my SVT. When I test drove it the dealer said that the sound was road noise due to the lo-pro tires that were put on it. The problem got progressivley worse after the 30day dealer fix mark. When I brought it back to Douschbag Mcgee at the dealership he said it wasn't a pre-existing problem and they can't fix it for free. Why do we buy our cars from people who know more about sales than cars?
