Is it normal to hear the shift interlock engage in a 96 2.0 Contour automatic? I get a noticeable click in the shifter console when I step on the brake in park only. The interlock system is working fine otherwise. Just wondering if other owners hear this or if I need to check the interlock cable. Thanks
