OP stuvx New CEG\'er S Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 24	Is it normal to hear the shift interlock engage in a 96 2.0 Contour automatic? I get a noticeable click in the shifter console when I step on the brake in park only. The interlock system is working fine otherwise. Just wondering if other owners hear this or if I need to check the interlock cable. Thanks

realslimshaver CEG\'er R Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 197 Cambridge Ontario Canada	yep its normal and it joins the other 100 wierd "normal" noitisable clicks and dings that we here in our contours. my fav is when you put the key to ACC. and u get the 4 knocks.
