ok i confess i dont know jack about audio. im getting some graduation money and want new speakers, just the ones in the doors. i searched and i got all confused. i dont know what tweeters or woofers or anything means. i just want a straight swap with the factory speakers. i dont want any subs or anything like that. basically i want to be able to listen loud and not have it all crappy sounding. if some speakers have better bass than others id like that better. thanks for any advise you might have for a poor ignorant fool like me.

i own these and they are fantastic.

if you want some clear sounding speakers, get some mb quartz. they are some of the clearest sounding speakers i've ever heard. i would of purchased them, but at the time i could not afford them. get (4) 5x7 or 6x8 (same) and you'll be fine. if it's run off of a factory radio you might want to amp them up.
