My center image is very strong and very focused. My kicks are aimed basically to a point above the opposite side front window. For example, the drivers side speaker is aimed at the passenger side grab handle. Just make sure the speakers are aimed far enough to the rear of the vehicle that you don't get a reflection off the bottom-center part of the dash where the radio is.
