You should get a socket set with a ratchet if you don't have one. They help a lot. And there is no such thing as a " bumber".

The Front Bumper Is Tied In To Both Of Your Front Fenders...
You Will Have To Remove The Inner Fender Wells To Get To The Two Long Bolts On Either Side....Once You Have Done This, Looking Up And To The Front Of The Inner Fender Well Where The Bumper Cover And The Fender Meet You Will See The Two Long Bolts...Remove These Bolts, Remove The Headlights, Remove The Grill And Then You Will See Two Or Four Push-Pins Underneath Where The Grill Used To Be. Pop Those Out, Then Remove The Two Long Bolts From The Other Side After Removing That Inner Fender Well...Once All Of This is Done You May Remove The Front Bumper. Now You Can Remove The Body Bolts That Hold The Fender On!!! As For The Rear Bumper I Believe You Have to At Least Drop Down The Rear Portion Of THe Exhaust to Get To The Two Bolts (One On Either Side) That Hold The Bumper On. For This Process You May Want To Have A Buddy In TOW To Help With Removal.

Also, As For This Part, I Believe There Is A "How-To" On Fixing Bumper-Sag For The SVT's That Shows Pics Of The Two Bolts That Hold On The Rear Bumper...Look In The How-To Area On The Main Page. I Am Pretty Sure The SE Rear Bumper Uses The Same Bolt/Bracket Combo....

I need to remove the fender on mine as well, but, since i have an SVT, i dunnoe how to get the side skirts off!! I have the ford workshop manual for the contour, so that'll tell me anything and everything except for the removal of the SVT side skirts. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

just took off my rear SVT bumper a few days ago. There are 4 bolts (2 on each side)on the inside of the bumper, pretty much straight back where the exhaust tips exit. Then two screws inside where the bumper meets the fender (right where the bumper narrows to a point) Feel behind there where the two meet and you will feel the screw. BE CAREFULL so you dont booger up the head. Use a mirror to find out if its a star head, hex head, square head or phillips. Anyway I didnt have to drop the exhaust or anything. It took me a while to figure out an easy way of doing it...well for me anyway. I used a two extentions so that my socket wrench could be gripped behind the rear tire in the fenderwell. The extensions will run above the exhaust or beside it (which ever is easier for you). This method worked for me on all 4 bolts. Be prepared this can be a real PITA, especially if your by urself. I had a buddy help me

p.s. it also could help to jack up the back side of the car that your working on so you can get a full swing of the socket wrench

Good luck
